Since most people who write about classic cartoons aren’t animators, cartoonists or even artists, they try to write about them in terms that relate to other, more familiar mediums-like live action, plot, acting, etc.
— I don’t always agree with everything that John K. says, but I can certainly appreciate this sentiment. Writing about animaion/film/comics/etc. is very limiting.
