Dark Horse Comics is cancelling Conan with issue #50 and starting a new series, Conan the Cimmerian.  Their plan is to break his exploits into 50 issue chunks, each detailing a specific time in his career.  The biggest change is that Cary Nord is out and Tomas Giorello is in.  There have been complaints that Nord was skimping on the detail, but one of the things I liked about his take was that it had a ferocity and energy that complicated detail would obscure, something Giorello’s art doesn’t seem to convey.  Oh, well.  It was good while it lasted.
